Blue Agave is the plant grown in the higher elevations of Mexico used to make tequila. Not surprisingly tequila has become the national identity of Mexico and is considered a national treasure. To people from around the world, tequila and Mexico have become synonymous.

Casa Agave, although a new home, was designed with old Mexico in mind. A combination of red tile roofs, arched windows, beamed ceilings, stucco walls and Saltillo floor tiles bring the feel of a classic Mexican home together. A wide variety of plants, colorful flowers and palms complete the ambience of a Mexican hacienda.

Located in the north end of Sayulita we have no rooster, heavy traffic, or street dogs to keep you awake at night. It is very quiet here, no restaurants or late night bars nearby. You’ll have a five minute stroll to the beach and ten to the village plaza. The walk is flat to both except for the last block which is a short up hill to our house.

Casa Agave

Living – Casa Agave is designed for casual entertaining with a comfortable living area opening onto the pool deck. A wall mounted 40-inch television with satellite includes U.S. and Canadian stations, a DVD player, and 50 plus DVDs. The TV’s Bluetooth sound bar doubles as a speaker for your portable music devices.

Dining – The dining area looks onto the pool and patio, and offers ample room for dinner parties or casual gatherings. An additional dining area is available poolside.  All areas are equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning.

Kitchen – A fully-appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances: stove and oven, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, microwave, plenty of counter space, and two separate sinks each with purified water. Each kitchen is stocked with basic items including: salt,  pepper, olive oils, common spices, vinegars, microdyne (to clean/soak vegetables), napkins, paper towels, etc.

Tequila Bar – At the end of the day, walk upstairs to the third floor Tequila Bar and enjoy remarkable views of Monkey Mountain, Sayulita, and the palm-lined Pacific while you enjoy a cool drink and watch the sun set. The Tequila Bar has its own fully functional kitchen, table and chairs, couches and half bath.

Bedrooms – For the privacy and convenience of our guests, all five bedrooms are completely separate from one another.
