Casa Sol y Luna

Just five minutes from town and located on the tranquil north side of town, Casa Sol y Luna is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, hacienda style casa, across the street from the beach and only a half block to beach access.

The Casa
Located behind a beautiful stone wall and glass block windows Casa Sol y Luna provides the privacy, security and serenity for your Sayulita excursion. When you enter, you pass into the large living area that opens to lush gardens, a private pool and a cascading waterfall. A recently upgraded water system, with increased water pressure and dependable hot water keeps you refreshed after a long day shopping, surfing, or exploring. 2 separate entrances are available for the bedrooms located in the back, complete with air conditioning and fans for those warm Sayulita nights, hotel grade safe for your valuables, new mattresses, sheets and towels and private baths with hairdryers and soap. This northern Sayulita gem provides an oasis of privacy while still enjoying the tropical plants, flowers and native birds.

The kitchen
If you want a night in from our restaurant diversity, Casa Sol y Luna’s fully stocked kitchen, new appliances and cookware is your perfect home away from home. Enjoy dining al fresco while admiring the garden and pool, illuminated at night in an open air experience.

Guest access and parking.
Your stay includes complete access to the house, the front area is great for entertaining while the bedrooms have peace and quiet located away from the action, with the pool set in the middle of the house. It is truly a hidden paradise, completely private and secure. There is secure of street parking should you need it, for a vehicle or if you rent a golf cart with a Discover Sayulita travel discount.

Interaction with guests
The property manager does not live on sight, but can arrange transportation to and from the airport. They are just a phone call or message away should you need anything, and eager to offer suggestions of things to do in Sayulita, and will stop by to help if there is a problem or collect recycling and compost.

The north side of Sayulita
The north side of town is both safe and a tranquil setting, the beach is most often very free of crowds with lots of space to spread out or take a quiet morning jog, or sunset walk. We provide an umbrella, chairs, towels and beach blankets. Sayulita is known for our yoga community and Casa Sol y Luna is located next to several excellent yoga studios.

Other items to assist in your stay
Sayulita is a tropical climate and and the house is open air with the exception of the bedrooms so during rainy system there are mosquitoes. The garden is fumigated weekly, and bug spray provided as well as additional fans, and candles to help. Most people do not find it to be an issue.

• No parties or events.
• May not be safe or suitable for infants under 2 years.
• Be respectful of the neighbors, no parties or loud noise after 10 pm.
• No glass by the pool, and always rinse sand off with the hose in the driveway before entering the house, or jumping in the pool as well.
• Be aware of conserving electricity and water, as we struggle to maintain water levels to sustain the whole town, especially throughout the dry season.
• Be conscious of not dumping sand loaded towels and clothing in the washer and dryer.
